Key function of the role: 1. Mechanical build, strip and assembly of capital machinery. 2. Installation of capital machinery at customers sites worldwide.
Responsibilities will include: - Adhering to all Health and Safety regulations - Performing duties in a professional manner and follow instructions with minimal supervision - Working to engineering drawings to a high standard that satisfies all required mechanica standards on any designated project or installation. - Required on occasion, often at short notice, to travel on a worldwide basis to assist with installation and service of company machinery. - Manual handling. - Working at height. - Use of snips, cutters, ratchets, drill and other power tools
Person specification: - Essential criteria: - Time served, recognised apprenticeship - Unhindered availability for worldwide travel - Able to read/understand mechanical schematics - Willingness to undergo further training - Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable criteria: - ONC Level qualified engineer in mechanical engineering or equivalent - Vaccuum system experience - Web handling experience - Pneumatic, hydraulic, machine controls & other mechanical systems
